Zaccios Restaurant is not really the “new kid on the block” anymore ( we opened our doors almost 2 years ago) and have additionally a long time experience in the business. Located on one of the lovely beaches on the west coast of Barbados, in the heart of Holetown. This location makes it easily accessible by car – even by public transportation and by sea; in case you are cruising along the coast (from the seaside it appears to look like a big tent with a bright yellow wall, bright orange signs and orange coloured boardwalk rails). On the roadside you will see the Zaccios sign, shaped like a shell in bright yellow and orange colours. The restaurant’s tropical yellow and orange colours scheme is pleasing to the eye. The cool breeze, the view and sound of the ocean will help you to unwind. Zaccios is offering a wide variety of meals – the cuisine is an international mix, including vegetarian dishes, seafood, fish and prime choices of meat. Pizzas and Pastas are available with combinations of your choice. Salads, for the one’s who just prefer something light, could also be combined with chicken or seafood. Quite often local dishes are served as “Specials” – especially at lunchtime. Take-away service is also available Have lunch on the boardwalk or enjoy a cool drink at the bar. Happy Hour is from 4 pm to 6 pm. On Monday night (6:30 p.m. - ???) we have a Beach BBQ with Live Entertainment along with our a la Carte Menu. Early dinner (5:30 pm) especially for families with small children can be accommodated. For dinner we would suggest to make reservations – especially if you would like to sit on the boardwalk; but walk-ins are also welcomed (you might have wait at the bar until a table becomes available). The atmosphere is relaxed – no need for jackets or ties… but please, no tank tops (for gents), hats or swim wear in the main dining area at dinnertime. Zaccios is a place for families – parents can relax and have their children playing on the beach; couples can have a romantic dinner, business people can have lunch or lunch meetings and singles will find people to talk to. Birthday parties or groups can be accommodated. It’s a place for visitors and locals to have a good meal or enjoy the sunset with a cool drink. Zaccios is also an ideal place to stop, have a swim or laze on the beach (beach chairs and umbrellas can be rented from Trini and his crew, right in front of the restaurant). Watersports: boat rides, jet skis, water skiing and lots of other water sport fun activities are provided by Shoreline Watersports. Just ask for Trini. Although water sports are available, it is not a noisy, crowded beach. There is an enclosed swimming zone in front of the premises. |
